What 64orbit is

64orbit is a registration platform for chess tournaments in India, run by Nisha Shinde, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. Parents and players create a profile once and register for tournaments; tournament organizers (such as district chess associations) publish tournaments, confirm payments and download entry lists. 64orbit does not run tournaments itself.

Your account

• You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
• A parent or guardian is responsible for every child's profile they create and for each registration they make.
• Parent/player accounts and organizer accounts are separate. Choose the right one when you sign up.

Payments and refunds

• Entry fees are paid directly to the organizer's UPI ID. 64orbit never collects, holds or passes on your money.
• A registration is confirmed only when the organizer confirms your payment. Refunds, cancellations and payment disputes are between you and the organizer.
• 64orbit does not currently charge parents, players or organizers any fee.

For organizers

• Publish accurate tournament details, fees, deadlines, age groups and brochures, and keep them up to date.
• Confirm or reject payments honestly and promptly, and give a clear reason when you reject one.
• Run your tournaments under the applicable AICF and FIDE rules.
• Age-group and fee-category eligibility is declared by parents. Check original age proof at the venue, as you do today.
• We verify organizations before their tournaments can go live, but verification is not an endorsement. You remain responsible for your tournaments.
• Use players' and parents' information only to run your tournament.

Acceptable use

Don't give false information, impersonate anyone, upload harmful files, or misuse other people's information. We may suspend or remove accounts or tournaments that break these terms.

Content

Organizers are responsible for the tournament details and brochures they publish. If you see something wrong or inappropriate, email nishapmore@gmail.com.

Our responsibility

We work to keep 64orbit available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by Indian law, we are not responsible for tournament cancellations or changes, for disputes between parents and organizers, or for payments made between them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
